We wouldn’t build Ivacy unless we knew we are better than most of them out there:

Not Just Another One

Ivacy is not just another VPN provider. Unlike most, if not all of them, Ivacy employs a special VPN protocol, developed by a professional international team with a long-term commitment to solving privacy and security matters on the industrial level. It’s not that they created Ivacy for you. No. They created Ivacy for themselves.

Where Technology Really Matters

Ivacy special protocol, called HTUN (HTTP Tunnel), allows to bypass all firewalls1, unlike other established VPN protocols such as PPTP, IPSec and OpenVPN, developed by major players (Microsoft, Cisco and Linux community). Unlike these established protocols, the firewalls do not detect Ivacy VPN protocol because it encrypts and masks any Internet traffic (including torrents) as web traffic.

I Am Loving It

Ivacy’s pricing and customer policy are designed to fit the needs of almost any VPN user: from beginners to pro’s. The scale of our business allows us to both deliver good reliable service, as well as reasonable prices. Which is a rare case in the modern world. We are so to say a McDonald’s or a WallMart of VPNs.

Ivacy pricing starts from 1 Euro a year, which is good to try the service under a fair use policy of 50 Mb/day, and still use VPN to go online banking and check email. Ivacy pricing ends with a 12.95 Euro truly unlimited plan, with fair discounts depending on the subscription term (3, 6 or 12 months).

Power Users Welcome

With many thankful and loyal customers, we appreciate them coming again and again, as many of them are with us since 2007. This is why we devised one simple Unlimited Annual Subscription for just 99.95 euro, which proves to be our killer product by the end of 2011.

Hi there,I’m thinking that WiTopia povrided you with the incorrect instructions. You should choose almost any other site than one listed in Asia. Choose one of the USA sites and you should be up and running.[] Reply:February 19th, 2011 at 6:45 pmI just tried. Still doesn’t work with Witopia. I’m connected right now through Atlanta, GA and youtube failed me again.[]Heidi Reply:April 22nd, 2011 at 8:30 amHi Mike,Have you tried right clicking Witopia and choosing run as administrator? I’ve been using Witopia for more than a year now without any problem, always being able to connect to any site from any of their given locations. What wears me down though is how ridiculously slow internet is in Shanghai (with or without any VPN). Hope this helps![] Reply:April 22nd, 2011 at 7:51 pmI attempted this before, but it didn’t work. Unfortunately, that combined with bad customer service soured my thoughts on Witopia.Agreed the slow internet in Shanghai is a major nuisance.Hope your tip helps other Witopia customers. Thanks!

Mike,Can you share results from speteedst.net? I’m currently a Witopia user. Sounds like my experience isn’t much different than yours with Witopia.[] Reply:February 5th, 2011 at 6:04 amThat’s a good idea, I’ll try to remember when I return to China (I am in the USA now). I didn’t see much of a difference in speed with and without VPN connections for normal websites. Both Witipia and Net Ignition run normal sites about the same (as far as I could tell). However, I don’t really care about this with VPN connections instead, I care about being able to access sites like youtube and facebook. To be honest, I’m starting to wonder if Witopia even works at all is it just saying it’s working?Good to know that I’m not the only one experiencing these problems. My 1 year with Witopia is about to end. I think it goes without saying that I won’t be renewing.[]
